Stay Tuned To Win Valuable Prizes (No, Really)

February 28, 2010

By now, everyone has heard of the Jane Austen/rotting flesh mash-up called Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (Quirk Classics).  What you might not know is that a prequel called Pride and Prejudice and Zombies:  Dawn of the Dreadfuls is about to be released, and I will be writing a Very Special Post on March 3 reviewing the book.

I know.  It’s not my usual shtick, but I’m a whore for free books, and coincidentally, Tiffany Kelly, the Marketing and Social Media Coordinator at Quirk, is a whore for giving books and other radical things away.  Sometimes the stars align.

It won’t be live until March 3, but in that review I will be linking to a contest where you will have a chance to nab one of 50 Quirk Classics Prize Packs, which have a retail value of more than US$100 and include:

  • An advance copy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls
  • Audio books of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls and Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters
  • A password redeemable online for sample audio chapters of Dawn of the Dreadfuls
  • An awesome Dawn of the Dreadfuls poster (It really is awesome.  I have one.)
  • A Pride and Prejudice and Zombies Journal
  • A boxed set of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies postcards, so you can creep out friends both near and far

All you have to do is come back here on March 3, read the review and click on the contest link.  That will send you to a public message board post on QuirkClassics.com, which will prompt you to mention the name of my blog (You can throw my name in there for good measure, if it allows for it.)  You will automatically be entered for a chance to win.

So, who’s your Mommy, huh?  I might be a whore for free books, but never say that I’m not looking out for you.

See you March 3.
